Church of Ireland Priorities Fund

The Church of Ireland Priorities Fund disperses around half a million euro in funds each year to deserving projects both north and south.

It came into existence in 1980 and in its first year contributions totalling IR£190,775 (€242,234) were received from the dioceses. Since then, over €21 million has been raised and allocated to projects within the Church of Ireland.

Applications

Each year, applications are invited from parishes, individuals and organisations from all over Ireland, but the project must help the Church of Ireland community in some way. Please read the criteria here before applying.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 31 October each year.

The Priorities Fund Committee consists of nine members of Standing Committee; the committee meets each February to decide on the allocation of grants, and these recommendations are put to the Standing Committee for approval in March.
