Diocesan Bible Courses
The Diocesan Bible Courses are for Christians at any stage on their journey with God. From October 2024 the new 1 Year Course will begin in Banbridge Parish Halls whilst the current 2 Year Course is taught in St Donard's, Bloomfield. All of the Bible Course modules are 10 weeks long and stand-alone.
The Courses
Both courses are for Christians at any stage on their journey with God who want to know more about the Bible and how it relates to their lives. No prior theological knowledge or qualifications are needed!
Either will be particularly useful if you have responsibility for teaching the Bible as Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, small group leaders, evangelists, church planters or lay readers. The courses will lay a foundation for further theological training.
COST: Each module costs £30 (payable on arrival at the beginning of each module).
The courses are taught by Josh Hooker. He is a Crosslinks Mission Partner, who has been teaching the Bible in southern Africa for the past 17 years. He is currently involved in teaching and training in the Diocese of Down and Dromore.

Where and when
Meetings are on Wednesday evenings in Banbridge Parish Halls, Church Square, Banbridge, BT32 4AA from 7.30–9.30pm (including a coffee break). Parking is available.
MODULE ONE: 9 October – 11 December 2024
MODULES TWO–FOUR: January – March 2025
MODULES FIVE–SIX: April – June 2025

The 2 Year Diocesan Bible Course
Where and when
Meetings are on Tuesday evenings at St Donard’s Parish Centre, 2–10 Bloomfield Road, Belfast, BT5 5LT, from 7.30–9.30pm (including a coffee break). Parking is available.
MODULES TWO–FOUR: Resume on 8 October and conclude on 10 December 2024
MODULES FIVE–SIX: January – June 2025
