Diocesan Bible Course

The Diocesan Bible Course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God. Our 2025-26 course begins on Wednesday 1 October in Banbridge Parish Halls and will be taught by a team of three tutors. There are three stand-alone modules, each 10 weeks long.

1 Year Diocesan Bible Course
The Course

The course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God who want to know more about the Bible and how it relates to their lives. No prior theological knowledge or qualifications are needed!

It will be particularly useful if you have responsibility for teaching the Bible as Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, small group leaders, evangelists, church planters or lay readers. The course will lay a foundation for further theological training.

COST: Each module costs £30 (payable on arrival at the beginning of each module).

The course will be taught by three experienced and enthusiastic tutors: Bishop Harold Miller (formerly Bishop of Down and Dromore); Revd Stu Armstrong (St Saviour’s Craigavon) and Dr Keith Gardiner (Diocesan Lay Reader and former university lecturer).
