Operations Manager, St Patrick's Ballymacarrett
Are you a gifted organiser and builder who loves turning vision into reality? We are looking for an Operations Manager to help launch a new HTB resource church in East Belfast.
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Part-time and job share applications will be considered if the right match can be made
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £28-35k - depending on experience
Start date: Early 2026 (negotiable)
Job responsibilities
Lead the operational life of the church, ensuring excellence across Sundays, events, and administration
Build and develop systems and structures that support sustainable growth and ministry impact
Partner with the Lead Pastor and leadership team to translate vision into practice Oversee logistics, planning, and operational decision-making in a pioneering context
Shape a healthy, grace filled operational culture across teams and volunteers
Requirements
A committed follower of Jesus with a deep alignment to the vision and values of St Patrick’s Ballymacarrett
Proven leadership and organisational skills, with experience managing people, projects, or systems
A strategic thinker who can also operate hands-on in a fast-moving, pioneering environment
Strong communicator with emotional intelligence, integrity and good judgement
Adaptable, resilient and motivated by building something meaningful from the ground up
