Vacancy for Diocesan Finance Manager (readvertisement)
The Diocese of Down and Dromore seeks to appoint a Diocesan Finance Manager. This is a full–time, permanent post but a part–time and/or job share arrangement will be considered. The post holder will be expected to actively support and further the Christian ministry and mission of the Church.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for accounting and financial services and reporting, ensuring probity and compliance to all financial regulations and the implementation of good governance. He/she will also support and advise parishes on financial matters and represent the diocese to all parties.
Salary: PO2, SCP 29 currently £37,336. Rising yearly to SCP 32
Hours: Full–time, 37.5 hours per week. A part–time and/or job share arrangement will also be considered. Hybrid working is available. Flexible working (including occasional evenings) will also be required to meet the needs of the Diocese and for which time off in lieu will be given.
