We’re delighted to welcome Jayne Martin to the diocesan staff team. Jayne was appointed as Diocesan Administration Officer (part–time) before Christmas and took up her role on 4 January.
She will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks which support the smooth running of the diocese and its ministries.
Jayne brings 30 years of experience in administration to the role and comes to us from the Presbyterian Church in Ireland where she worked for over 12 years.
She is married to Stephen and they have two grown up children. They have been parishioners at Lisburn Cathedral for the past 6 years.
Speaking of her new role, Jayne said:
“I am excited to now be working for the Diocese of Down and Dromore, to getting to know the staff team better, albeit over Zoom, and for the challenges that come with learning a new role. My prayer is that God will use my administrative gifts within the diocese and toward the work of His kingdom.”
Jayne is working 22.5 hours flexibly during office hours Mon–Fri
