Ordination of Presbyters 2025

Bishop David ordained six presbyters at a service in Down Cathedral on Sunday 15 June. The preacher was Revd Paul Harcourt, Vicar of All Saints' Woodford Wells in Essex, who also led the ordination retreat. It was a joyful occasion with a capacity congregation. Thank you to Daniel and Sarah McDonald from Willowfield Church and Down Cathedral organist, Michael McCracken, for leading us in worship. The ordinands: Revd Colin Morris for the curacy of Kilmegan & Maghera; Revd Reuben Johnston for the curacy of Willowfield; Revd Peter Booth for the curacy of LAMP; Revd Dr Ryan Hawk for the curacy of Cregagh; Revd Dave Thomas for the curacy of Bloomfield and Revd Jonathan Watson for the curacy of Ballyholme.
