Flower Festival, Kilhorne Church, Annalong

Set at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and on the shore of the Irish Sea, Kilhorne Church is a place where God’s glory is glimpsed in both creation and craftsmanship.

The newly refurbished church building is the perfect venue for a very special Flower Festival - “To God be the Glory” - taking place from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 June 2026. You are warmly invited to come along.

During these four days, the church will be transformed with beautiful floral displays by Mr Alan Beatty. Alan is National Demonstrator, Judge, Speaker and Teacher within the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and Associate of Honour from NAFAS for his work and commitment to the Northern Ireland Group of Flower Arrangers and NAFAS.

The Rector, Revd Bryan Martin says: "The festival is open to everyone, and we expect it to be a popular community event, welcoming visitors from across the parish and beyond. The Festival is especially meaningful for our parish, as Kilhorne reopens its doors following four years of extensive renovation.

"We are deeply thankful for the generosity and commitment that have brought us to this point, and the Flower Festival offers a joyful opportunity to celebrate this new chapter in the life of our church and community. 'To God be the glory'".
