Diocesan Clergy and Leaders Day Conference
The biannual day conference is for all our serving all clergy, church plant leaders, church army officers and other key staff in our churches. We will be hosted in Magheralin Parish Church on Thursday 22 January from 9.30am-5.00pm.
The main speaker will be Pastor John Funnell. John is Pastor of Noddfa Church, Abersychan, Wales and principle of the Valleys School of Theology. He is a boxing chaplain for Sports Chaplaincy UK and sits on the editorial board for the Evangelical Magazine. He is the author of What God Can do With a Little Oil: Church growth in a desperate situation.
John will both tell the story of God at work in what was a very small and tired congregation and help us understand from the scriptures how we might lean into “the silent revival”, that is impacting God’s church in parts of the UK and Ireland.
