Christmas Tree Festival, St Patrick's Newry
St Patrick’s Parish Church, Newry, welcome you to their Christmas Tree Festival - a wonderful community event celebrating the joy and hope of the festive season. Open from Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 December.
Established on its present site in 1578, St Patrick’s has long been dedicated to Christian worship and community service, and we look forward to opening wide our doors during this special festival.
This year, as Christmas approaches, we are joining with the diocesan initiative to SPEAK JESUS over our great city of Newry. The Christmas Tree Festival will play a key role in this as visitors take time to pause at each display. We hope you will find space to reflect, appreciate, and be inspired.
Each Christmas tree tells a story. Each highlights a valued and vital group within our community. Together, they remind us how deeply we need and appreciate one another.
Most importantly, we pray that your time at the festival helps you reflect on the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World - Immanuel, God with us and for us, in this season and in every season of our lives.
We look forward to welcoming you to this uplifting community celebration.
