1-Year Diocesan Bible Course begins in Belfast

The 1-Year Diocesan Bible Course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God. Our Belfast-based 2025/26 course begins on Wednesday 8 October in St Mary's Ballybeen and will be taught by a team of three tutors. There are three stand-alone modules, each 10 weeks long.

Register now through Eventbrite AT THIS LINK.

The Course

The course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God who want to know more about the Bible and how it relates to their lives. No prior theological knowledge or qualifications are needed!

It will be particularly useful if you have responsibility for teaching the Bible as Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, small group leaders, evangelists, church planters or lay readers. The course will lay a foundation for further theological training.

COST: Each module costs £30 (payable on arrival at the beginning of each module).

The course will be taught by three experienced and enthusiastic tutors: Dr Millie Bellew (Diocesan Lay Reader and former Diocesan Children’s Development Officer), Dr Peter Crookes (Holywood Parish, Parish Reader and university lecturer) and Mr David Manning (St Mary’s, Ballybeen, Diocesan Lay Reader and former school principal).
