Service of Introduction at St Clement's - you're invited
Revd Ross Munro will be introduced as Ordained Local Minister for the Parish of St Clement's (Templemore Avenue) on Thursday 29 October 2026.
The occasion will also mark the coming together of St Clement's and The Gathering as one church family.
Ross says:
"It’s been a whirlwind few weeks as we’ve secured unanimous agreement from both church leadership teams and the diocese. We then got to work moving The Gathering Belfast’s belongings from our old home at St Martin’s Church to our new home at St Clement’s Church.
"Thursday evening’s service will mark the culmination of a few weeks of hard work. With a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, the next stage begins - the work of uniting our churches and welcoming our new brothers and sisters in the love of the Gospel.
"Our guest speaker will be the Revd Jonny Campbell Smyth, a close and dear friend of mine and of The Gathering Belfast. Jonny and I have met weekly with members of his leadership team in recent years to pray, dream and seek God’s purposes for both his parishes and the work of The Gathering. There was only one man on the list to lead us through God’s Word on this occasion, and we’re so glad he accepted our invitation.
"We’re excited about what God plans to do through us, and we hope you’ll consider joining us on Thursday evening as we begin this new journey together!"
