Evangelist or Pioneer Minister, Glencraig

Holy Trinity Glencraig is seeking a gifted evangelist or pioneer minister with a passion for helping people discover and follow Jesus. This role may be full-time or part-time.

Plant Gospel Seeds in Glencraig

We long to see our church become a Seedbed for God’s Kingdom, creating new opportunities for people living in Cultra, Craigavad and Seahill to encounter Jesus, grow as disciples and become part of vibrant Christian community.

This exciting role will focus on engaging people with little or no church connection through initiatives such as Alpha, schools’ engagement, community outreach, fresh expressions of church and the development of new discipleship pathways.

Working alongside Revd Catherine Simpson (Rector) and Revd Kyle Flanigan (NSM) and supported by the diocese, you will help shape new opportunities for mission that connect with people of all ages, particularly young adults, families and those currently beyond the reach of the church.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves Jesus and has a heart to share the good news with others.

  • Has a passion for evangelism, disciple-making and pioneering new ministry.

  • Has experience of outreach, church planting or fresh expressions of church.

  • Is able to build authentic relationships.

  • Is a great communicator who can inspire, equip and encourage volunteers.

  • Has a particular desire to reach young adults and families.

If you long to see people encounter Jesus, new disciples made, and fresh Christian communities established, we would love to hear from you.

Based at Holy Trinity Glencraig, North Down
