Youth & Children’s Leaders Evenings
Serving in youth and children's ministry is a privilege, but it's also demanding. Week after week, our leaders are pouring into others: planning lessons, showing up early, praying for kids by name, being the steady presence. It's easy to keep giving until there's nothing left to give.
This evening is for anyone working or volunteering in a children's or youth ministry and our theme is Dig the Well: Fill up, so you can pour out.
This year, we have two opportunities for you and your team to join us:
Wednesday 21 October in Belvoir Parish Church (7.00pm – 9.00pm).
Thursday 22 October in Donaghcloney Parish Church (7.00pm – 9.00pm).
Come and be poured into through teaching, worship, prayer, and honest conversation about what it really takes to stay in ministry for the long haul.
What to expect:
Food: relax, eat, and connect
Worship: space to encounter God
Teaching: practical, honest input on sustaining ministry over time
Prayer: for you, your team, and the young people and children you lead
Community, fellowship: connect with other leaders
Resources: practical tools to take back into your ministry
Safeguarding Q&A: meet our new Down & Dromore Safeguarding Officer, and bring your questions on policies and best practice
Encouragement: because you need to hear it too
Whether you're just starting out or you've been serving for years, this night is a chance to pause, breathe, and dig a well that will sustain you long after tonight is over.
