Hillsborough says ‘Thanks!’
Hillsborough Parish Church recently held a ‘Thank You’ evening for its volunteers who serve in many different ways and help deliver its ministry throughout the year.
Ninety-two people attended the reception hosted by the Rector, Bryan Follis, and members of the Ministry Team. The guests were treated to a supper of sandwiches and savouries followed by a selection of desserts.
There were also various awards made and these included the Best Volunteer of the Year and Best New Volunteer.
All those attending enjoyed the supper, the opportunity to forge a stronger sense of community and were enthused for the new season ahead.
