The new Maridi Family Centre is underway
We're thrilled that the building of a new Maridi Family Centre is underway after the diocesan Advent Appeal in 2025 raised over £42,000.
The foundations have been laid on a site within the diocesan compound and we expect that the walls are already taking shape.
Your generous donations mean that the centre will be able to provide vital services for youth, children and families:
Trauma counselling & psychosocial support for women impacted by war, violence, and displacement.
Vocational training in tailoring, arts & crafts, design, and basket weaving
Family life training for young couples and parents
Youth engagement through sports and social gatherings
Income-generating stalls & exhibitions
