Children's Pastor (full-time), Magheralin
This is an exciting opportunity to join Magheralin's staff team as Children’s Pastor, as we seek to grow and deepen our ministry among children and families. We are committed to seeing God at work in the lives of children and nurturing faith, curiosity, and belonging within the life of the Church.
Working alongside an established staff team, dedicated volunteers, and existing programmes, you will help develop and strengthen children’s ministry across our growing two-centre evangelical parish.
The Children’s Pastor will be responsible, among other things, for building on the current ministry to children and families; providing pastoral care and support to children and their parents; and acting as an advocate for children within the wider life of the parish. You will build relationships, inspire and model good practice among volunteers and emerging leaders, and encourage a deepening of Christian faith and discipleship. You will also play a full and active role as a member of the parish staff team.
The key requirement for this role is a passion for reaching children and their parents with the love of Jesus Christ, alongside the initiative and organisational ability to engage effectively with them and draw families into the wider Christian community.
