Join Module 2 of the Diocesan Bible Course
Congratulations to our Diocesan Bible Course students who have completed their first module of three (and have loved every minute!). If you would like to join us in either Belfast or Banbridge for Module 2, you are welcome to sign up.
We meet on Wednesday evenings in Banbridge Parish Halls and St Mary's Ballybeen, Dundonald, from 7.30-9.30pm (including a coffee break). Parking is available at both locations and each module is 10 weeks long.
Module 2 begins on Wednesday 14 January with one week off on Wednesday 11 February (school half term); through to the last evening on Wednesday 25 March 2026
Module Two: ‘In the beginning God...’
Here we go back to the beginning of the Bible and see that everything starts with God (Genesis 1:1). We trace the story of God’s dealings with Israel through the 17 historical books of the Old Testament. We discover how God was announcing his plan to send Jesus from the very beginning.
Please register for at THIS LINK for Banbridge and THIS LINK for Belfast.
If you have completed Module 1 and plan to continue, please sign up again unless you have already notified your course teacher (s).
The Course
The course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God who want to know more about the Bible and how it relates to their lives. No prior theological knowledge or qualifications are needed!
It will be particularly useful if you have responsibility for teaching the Bible as Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, small group leaders, evangelists, church planters or lay readers. The course will lay a foundation for further theological training.
COST: Each module costs £30 (payable on arrival at the beginning of each module).
Who will teach the course?
The course will be taught by three experienced and enthusiastic tutors in each location: Bishop Harold Miller, Revd Stu Armstrong and Dr Keith Gardiner in Banbridge and in Belfast, Dr Millie Bellew, Dr Peter Crookes and Mr David Manning.
