Killinchy & Kilmood MU welcome Diocesan President
MU Diocesan President, Mrs Lynda Thompson, recently addressed the local branch of the Mothers’ Union in Kilmood Church Hall.
Lynda shared something of her faith story and how God had been with her through the personal tragedy of losing her son. She testified to the ever present help of God and encouraged us to turn to him when we need him most.
As the newly appointed Diocesan President, Lynda briefed members on upcoming events and initiatives, and informed them that Mothers’ Union is celebrating 150 years in 2026.
MU in Down and Dromore is hoping to enrol 150 new members and Lynda challenged Killinchy and Kilmood to play their part.
