The Diocesan Bible Course is back for 2025-26
The popular 1-Year Diocesan Bible Course is back for 2025-26 with two courses planned - one in Banbridge and one in Belfast, both of which begin in early October.
Fifty-three people completed our last Bible Courses and here are just some of their comments:
It was fantastic and really opened the Bible for me. Made me think of things I’ve never thought of before, even passages I’ve read over and over.
One of the things I enjoyed most about the course was making links between Old Testament and New Testament. The course brought ‘the Bible to life.
There was no pressure on me to do exams, everything was explained very clearly, which meant that I didn’t feel out of my depth.
I had some lovely times of fellowship, and this has been one of the best things I’ve ever done.
The Course
The course is for Christians at any stage on their journey with God who want to know more about the Bible and how it relates to their lives. No prior theological knowledge or qualifications are needed!
It will be particularly useful if you have responsibility for teaching the Bible as Sunday School teachers, youth group leaders, small group leaders, evangelists, church planters or lay readers. The course will lay a foundation for further theological training.
COST: Each module costs £30 (payable on arrival at the beginning of each module).
Who will teach the course?
The course will be taught by three experienced and enthusiastic tutors in each location: Bishop Harold Miller, Revd Stu Armstrong and Dr Keith Gardiner in Banbridge and in Belfast, Dr Millie Bellew, Dr Peter Crookes and Mr David Manning.
