Diocesan Admin Team are on the road!

The Down and Dromore admin team have been on the road, facilitating training in the use of our online data capture system.

The first workshop took place in Knockbreda Parish on Tuesday evening 20 May and was attended by over 60 representatives from parishes, mostly from the Diocese of Down.

The event also provided an opportunity to meet Diocesan Finance Manager, Claire Neill, the newest member of our team.

The online portal is where the annual parish returns are made and records kept up to date so it’s essential that whoever is responsible - usually Hon Treasurers, Secretaries, Administrators or Incumbents - are familiar with the system.

After some light refreshments, Diocesan Secretary, Roy Lawther, and Kelly McCullough, our Diocesan Administrator, delivered the training which included why the diocese requires the information, how to register, as well as guidelines and tips on how to complete the returns.

Kelly and Roy were available to answer questions on the night and are at the end of the phone should parishes need further support. (Contact details on THIS PAGE).

An identical workshop will be hosted in Dromore Diocese by Holy Trinity Banbridge on Thursday 29 May from 7-8.30pm.
