Training opportunities coming soon

The diocese is committed to resourcing the local church by training leaders, lay and ordained, and by encouraging every member ministry. Coming up in January and February…

Diocesan Bible Course Module 3

The 3rd module of the course will go behind the scenes of the New Testament to find answers to some of the who, what, where and when questions. Participants do not need to have had any prior theological knowledge or have attended the previous modules. The module takes place over ten Tuesday evenings beginning 24 January. Register via Eventbrite HERE.

Child Safeguarding Training (online)

Training for volunteers working with children will take place online on Wednesday 25 January. Register via Eventbrite HERE.

Diocesan Course on Faith Sharing

This free short training course will take place over four consecutive Tuesday evenings in Magheralin from 14 February to 7 March at 7.00pm. The course is open to anyone but may be particularly useful for those of us who would struggle to naturally share our faith story with others. Find out more and register via Eventbrite HERE.

Accredited Pastoral Care Course

The diocese commends an accredited Pastoral Carers Training Course which has been well received by our churches in previous years. Places are limited for the upcoming course so if you are interested, please book early. The start date is Tuesday 21 February 2023 in Carnmoney Presbyterian Church. Download the course details here.

Prayer Ministry Training Day

Registration is now open for this practical training with Glynis Matchett who leads the prayer ministry work of New Wine Ireland and is one of our Diocesan Evangelists. The training is suitable for newcomers to a prayer ministry team or as a refresher course. Find out more and register via Eventbrite HERE.
