Celebrating partnership in Titanic Parish

“Everyone needs a little help from their friends… and there’s been no closer friend in the Lord’s work in the Titanic Parish than James Brown & Sons Funeral Directors,” writes Church Plant leader, Ross Munro.

“Like many others we applied to the James Brown & Son’s Community Fund in recent months, with an application directed towards the supporting of our youth and young adult provision in the parish. It was such a delight to hear we had been chosen to receive an award of £1000 from the company and to be invited to be part of the recent celebrations with many of the other exciting initiatives chosen for support in Belfast City.

“Since our move to St Martin’s Church on the Lower Newtownards Road from the Dock Cafe, James Brown’s heart to be a silent supporter of our community outreach hasn’t gone unnoticed by all those in leadership roles at The Gathering. As the dust settles on another amazing summer of community engagement, our BBQs and the hiring of inflatables as the focal points of our summer events wouldn’t have been the successes they were if it wasn’t for the support of James and his company.

“We want to thank James and the team for their partnership with us, and we look forward to seeing all the Lord will do with their blessing.”
