5 days left of Sligo early bird rate
With 5 days to go till the early bird booking rate closes, leader of New Wine Ireland, Simon Genoe, gives us 5 reasons why he’s so excited about Sligo 22 (and 5 reasons why you should book in)!
1. A space for everyone! Sligo conference is all about family! Tots, kids, youth, ‘Our place’ (for those with special requirements), adult venue… there is a place for everyone in your church/tribe/family. There will be spaces for leaders to be blessed, for old friends to connect and catch up, for newcomers to meet people, for entertainment, for quizzers and lots more!
2. Passionate worship! I can’t wait to gather with you and others in HIS presence, and thank him for His goodness and love. I do this every week in the local church but I’m so excited to worship alongside people from across the island and beyond.
3. Prayer ministry! Throughout all our venues, we are committed to making space to welcome the Holy Spirit into our hearts and lives. I’m sure there are very few of us that don’t need His presence, His refreshing and perhaps, His healing at this time. There will be a trained and trusted team ready to pray with us and for us, at Sligo.
4. Amazing teaching and seminars! We are so excited about the programme that’s come together, with contributors from home and abroad speaking – including Sean Mullarkey (leader of Christian Churches Ireland), Nicola Neal (founder and CEO of Every Life International) and Johnny Nimmo (church leader from Marburg, Germany).
5. To be there! I love beautiful Sligo, the great places to eat and the beautiful beaches, and I have been so personally blessed at every Sligo conference I have attended. One year, Sligo IT had banners up all over their campus – “Amazing things happen here!”. Obviously they were talking about the academic achievements in their institution – but they were right on another level too.
