Christmas greetings from South Sudan

The Bishop of Maridi, the Rt Revd Moses Zungo, has written with Christmas greetings. Please keep our link diocese in your prayers, especially as they prepare to celebrate the centenary of the arrival of the gospel in Maridi.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

2020 to 2021 has been a hard and difficult years for us all, but we are so thankful for your partnership, prayers and all forms of support you made it to us and for us through CMS Ireland throughout this year. Your friendship has been a real encouragement to us here in Maridi. The above verses were a live as we could see and feel the presence of God (Immanuel) with us.

On behalf of the Episcopal Diocese of Maridi, we send you greetings for Christmas and the New Year and thank you very for being our partner and friend.we looking forward to see you in spirit or physical in the centenary celebration of gospel in Maridi 27th January to 31st January, 2022.

May God continue to bless you with joy and hope as we wait for His coming again when all things will be renewed and all will acknowledge the Jesus, Immanuel, God with us.
