Vacancy for Director of Music Ministry
Magheralin Parish seeks to employ a Director of Music Ministry to lead, develop and encourage the musical life, ministry and worship of the parish.

Responsible to: The Rector/Select Vestry of Magheralin Parish Church
Remuneration: Negotiable consistent with experience, skills and qualifications
Key Duties
Magheralin Parish comprises two centres of worship, Magheralin Parish Church and St Saviour’s Dollingstown. Under the leadership of the rector, the Director of Music Ministry will have responsibilities for music and worship within the parish.
A large part of the role will be in training and developing the parish (SATB) choir in Magheralin.
The regular monthly schedule may include:
- All Magheralin morning services (11.30 am)
- Two evening Magheralin services per month (6.30 pm)
- Occasional support of the band–led service in St. Saviour’s Dollingstown
This proposed schedule is flexible and will be negotiated prior to completion of contract. In the changing COVID–19 environment the music and worship within the parish will be compliant with government advice and duties may be altered accordingly.
