Bishop Harold conducts his last service of ordination

Bishop Harold has conducted his last service of ordination as Bishop of Down and Dromore.

The bishop ordained three presbyters in Hillsborough Parish Church on Sunday evening 8 September: Revd Jonathan Brown for the curacy of Hillsborough; Revd Peter Hilton for the curacy of St Mark’s Newtownards and Revd Karen Salmon for the curacy of Willowfield.

The address was given by Revd Rob Jones, Rector of Rathmines with Harold’s Cross in the Diocese of Dublin and Glendalough.

Bishop Harold estimates that he has ordained 180 people over the 22 years of episcopacy.

Our new presbyters reflect on their deacon year: Jonathan, Peter and Karen.
