At West Winds Community Church we see ourselves as an imperfect church family prayerfully and practically serving God in the heart of West Winds with the transformational Gospel using a community centred approach to our ministries for all ages.
Our Sunday worship is passionate, authentic and deeply rooted in Jesus. Where we are invited to come as we are but be challenged to let God change who we are. We gather together from 11:30am for tea/coffee and our service begins at 12 noon.
Also on the second Sunday of each month at WWCC we have our dementia friendly service, “FORGET-ME-NOT CHURCH” at 3pm…. This is a wonderful service with older more traditional hymns followed by a short talk and craft and aimed at those with dementia, their families, and their friends.
Throughout the week we remain connected as a church family and a community with opportunities for Bible Study and prayer, groups for young people to join and a vibrant Hen’s Shed for the ladies. We also work in partnership with the local development association and also run a weekly lunch club and breakfast club as we seek to live and share the love of Jesus as we do life together.

Sunday gatherings take place in West Winds Community Centre, Dakota Avenue, Newtownards, BT23 4QT. Taking the Messines Road out of Newtownards, turn right at the traffic lights onto Blenheim Drive. At the junction, turn left onto Dakota Avenue and the Community Centre is up a little on your left.
Refreshments 11.30am, Service 12 noon in West Winds Community Centre. Everyone Welcome. Come as you are.
