St. Columba’s, Knock is a warm, friendly and welcoming church which, in true Anglican tradition, lays equal emphasis on both Word and Sacrament. We have a long–established musical tradition which includes a robed choir and a music group, under the direction of our Parish Organist & Choral Director, Dr Joe McKee. This enables us to cater for all ages and to use a variety of services including sung Holy Communion, Choral Evensong, Morning Prayer, Compline, Healing Services and Songs of Praise. Children form a very important part of our congregation staying in church for the whole of the All Age Worship Service on the first Sunday of the month, which is followed by refreshments, and the Family Communion Service on the third Sunday at 9.30am. During the week our activities include a thriving Mother and Toddler Group, Youth Organisations, Young Families Group, Bible Study Group, Men’s Club, Mothers’ Union, Ladies Guild, Art Club, Railway & Model Club, Badminton Clubs, Craft & Hobby Circle, Bowling Groups and an Afternoon Group for Senior Parishioners.
St. Columba’s is situated on the King’s Road between the Sandown Road and the Knock Road in East Belfast. It can be approached from Belfast City Centre following signs for Newtownards turning right at Sandown Road in Ballyhackamore and then left into Kings Road.
If travelling from Belmont on the Dual Carriageway on the outer ring road, cross the Knock intersection and turn right into Kings Road heading City bound several hundred metres until St. Columba’s is approached. Travelling from South Belfast and Castlereagh on the outer ring road, turn city bound (left) at the intersection of Kings Road and Knock Road.
We have recordings of our 10.30am services EVERY SUNDAY on our Parish Website:
and also on our Facebook page: “St Columba’s Knock”

We have short messages from the Rector updated on Mondays and Fridays, available to view on our website.
