Area Deanery of Clandeboye

  • Glencraig Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity, Seahill Road, Craigavad, Holywood.

Glencraig Church is a small charming church on the lovely North County Down coast. Within a stone’s throw of the church are two highly successful schools. Rockport is the only fully independent school in Northern Ireland and takes pupils to GCSE level. The primary school has controlled integrated status and is known as Glencraig Integrated Primary School. The involvement with the schools and youth of the area make Glencraig a very family orientated church. There is a wide range of ages and all are made very welcome from every background helping make Glencraig a warm, friendly worshipping family. It is a very forward–thinking church, yet traditional by nature, and it sees itself as very much a community church as it sits at the mouth of the Seahill development, Craigavad.

Travelling from Belfast by car towards Bangor on the A2, past Holywood, then past the Culloden Hotel which is on your left. Seahill Road is at the second set of traffic lights after the Culloden Hotel. Turn left towards Camphill Community and Rockport School, Holy Trinity Church is on your left.
