You are warmly invited to our services on Sundays (10 am and 6.30 pm) and Wednesdays (3.45 pm), and to our many activities and groups which happen throughout the week. Our grounds and garden are also open for a walk, a picnic or some quiet reflection on a bench or by the Easter Garden.
St Mark’s Parish has a clear Anglican identity where the preaching, teaching and pastoral care are the fruits of Christ–centred worship. Sunday School runs throughout the year, including school holidays and our young people are actively involved in our services.
Our vision is expressed in the following three points:
St Mark’s – A warm and welcoming Church, where all are encouraged to grow in our Christian faith and our spiritual commitment to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
St Mark’s – A Church, where our witness is demonstrated through our actions and service to the community, and where the Christian faith is living, real and relevant to the world of today.
St Mark’s – An outward looking congregation seeking to increase Christ’s Kingdom through the teachings of Holy Scriptures; and a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can feel at home as they seek to grow in faith.
A prayer for St Mark’s, Dundela
Almighty God, you alone can bring growth to your Church.
Send your Holy Spirit to give us wisdom in our planning,
courage in our actions
and power in our outreach.
May we in St Mark’s grow in spiritual commitment to you;
grow in numbers and in our service to the community.
We pray for a new spring. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
The church is situated on Holywood Road. It has a very distinctive sandstone tower which is visible from all over East Belfast.
