St Columbanus, Groomsport Road, Bangor

About

Since its foundation as a parish, St Columbanus Ballyholme has creatively blended worship, pastoral care and outreach, touching many lives for God along the way. With a view to taking the best of the past into the future, the parish undertook a multi–faceted consultation exercise early in 2009. The objective was to garner opinion on the future growth and development of the Parish with a view to setting aims for the run up to 2015, the 1400th anniversary of the death of St Columbanus. A range of fundamental questions were discussed in a variety of forums and many opinions were offered. This led to a Parish Vision Statement, subsequently adopted by the Select Vestry.

To find this, take the first right after the Church on Groomsport Road into Bellevue, go up the hill and take the first right into Grove Park. The car park and entrance to the Parish Centre are on the right, about 50 metres down the hill.
