About Us

The Present

At Donaghadee Parish our worship is as diverse and wide ranging as our parishioners. From the 8.30am Holy Communion Service for the early birds, to the more contemplative 7.00pm Evening Service. In between we offer a blended worship service following Morning Prayer Order 2 at 10.30am followed by tea in the Parish Halls. On Wednesday’s at 11am there are special services at which Intercessions for the sick are made, with the Laying on of Hands on the first Wednesday of each month. These are further supplemented on an occasional basis by other services dedicated towards Healings, Youth, Outreach, etc.

The Future

Our vision as a parish is that we grow deeper in our knowledge and love for Jesus and that others would join us as they too experience His love and so find faith. We hope also to continue in the ‘Think Again’ theme in terms of Reconciliation, Evangelism and Outreach, principally but not exclusively to young people. To communicate effectively both within our church family and beyond it, in the hope that all will have a better awareness and understanding of what Church is really about, and in doing so recruit, retain, nurture, and grow workers for the Kingdom.
