September Ordinations
The ordination of (OLM) presbyters/priests will take place in St Saviour’s, Dollingstown, on Sunday 3 September at 6.30 pm.
Bishop David will ordain two presbyters as follows:
- Revd Ross Munro for The Gathering (Parish of Titanic)
- Revd James Crockett for Braniel Church Plant
The preacher at the service will be Revd Greg Downes, Director of Kingfisher Ministries and Theologian and Missioner of St Mary’s Cogges near Oxford.
The ordination of an (OLM) deacon will take place in Knocknagoney Church on Sunday 10 September at 7.00 pm.
Bishop David will ordain Andrew Frame for the Parish of Knocknagoney.
The preacher at the service will be Ven Ken Higgins, Archdeacon of Down and Rector of St Donard’s, Bloomfield.
The ordination of a deacon will take place in St John’s Orangefield on Sunday 17 September at 7.00 pm (postponed from August due to Covid).
Bishop David will ordain Dave Thomas for an internship in the Parish of Mount Merrion.
The preacher at the service will be Ven Roderic West, Archdeacon of Dromore and Rector of Banbridge, Seapatrick.
