Christmas Tree Fest of Foods, Annalong
Kilhorne Church, Annalong and the Fishermen’s Mission are joining forces again to invite you to two exciting events in one this December!
From Thursday 30 November – Saturday 9 December (excluding Sunday) The 10th Fishermen’s Mission’s Christmas Tree Festival will combine with a ‘Fest of Foods’ and crafts from the parish.
The trees will be displayed in Kilhorne Church whilst the crafts and goodies will be on sale in the church hall. All from 10.00am–8.30pm.
In celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary the Fishermen’s Mission will be pulling out all the stops with over 80 Christmas trees on display, Santa dropping in at the weekend and appearances by special guest singers.
After visiting the Christmas Trees, have a browse around the craft stalls and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a breakfast bap or homemade scones and tray bakes. Stay for a light soup lunch, or why not make a night of it on Fridays and Saturdays with an evening meal? The ‘Kilhorne Festive Kebab’ is back by popular demand!
Kilhorne Parish Church is fundraising to support the renovation of the church building after extensive dry rot affecting every wall as well as the timber floor and pews was discovered in 2022. The church building has been made available in its stripped back state.
Pre–booking for groups is highly recommended. Please email annalongparish@gmail.com
Proceeds raised from The Christmas Tree Festival in the church building are in aid of the Fishermen’s Mission. Proceeds raised from the Fest of Foods in the church hall will go towards Kilhorne’s Restoration Project.
