This evening provides an opportunity to hear directly from church planters in the diocese about their pioneering work in sharing the gospel with hard–to–reach communities in inner city housing estates as well as rural areas.
Where: House of Vic–Ryn, Moira Road, Lisburn, BT28 2RF
When: Tuesday 27 September from 7.00pm – 9.30pm
Bishop David will open the evenings by providing an overview of this current era of diocesan church planting. Since 2013, nine new worshipping communities have been established in Belfast, Dundrum, Killough, Moneyreagh, Newtownards, and Portadown.
There will be short presentations from church plant leaders, a panel discussion and the opportunity to speak to church plant leaders individually.
Who is this event for?
Church leaders, Select Vestry members and congregation members of churches in the diocese who want to connect with the pioneers who are undertaking God’s work in hard–to–reach communities in our diocese. You will hear about the opportunity to partner with the diocese to support church planting by receiving ministry reports, praying for this work, visiting and volunteering in church plants and contributing to the Church Plant Fund.
Please register HERE for 27 September (registration closes on 20 September).
