MIDDLE Kilbroney Adventure Camp

We are pleased to announce that the Kilbroney Adventure Camps are now open for bookings and we are really looking forward to welcoming young people to these 5 days of fun and faith–filled residentials.

MIDDLE CAMP runs from 5–9 August 2022 and is for those going into Yrs. 10, 11 & 12.

It is our intention to run the camps as normally as possible and so they will involve the usual mix of outdoor activities, games, worship, teaching, small groups and campfires –all within the relevant guidelines. The Kilbroney Centre has made some exciting changes over the past 2 years to develop new outdoor areas, refurbish the accommodation and extend the Games room for larger meetings.

The situation may change with regard to Covid regulations and we will adapt the camps in response to this. If we have to cancel due to changes in regulations then you will be offered a full refund.

Cost

Cost per person is £165 with £65 deposit* required when booking and the £100 balance payable by arrival. The cost for siblings is reduced by 15% (to £140.25) with £75.25 payable by arrival. We realise that this is an important opportunity for young people so if you or a family you know are struggling to pay this amount then please contact us about bursaries available. (*Deposit does not include Eventbrite booking fee). Book at this link.

A Day in the Life of Camp
  • Morning and Evening Blast is a time for everyone to get together for worship and to learn more about the Bible and God’s plan for our lives.
  • Small Groups occur after evening blast and provide an opportunity to talk a little bit about the day past, what we learned about life and God and to pray together.
  • Group Activities are activities and team challenges that campers get to do together as a group. On Middle Camp these will include canoeing and kayaking, gorge walk, soft arrow combat and a trip to Let’s Go Hydro.
  • Evening Events are activities for everyone each evening including campfire, waterslide and river walks.
Camp Aims
  • To grow young people in their faith through providing bible study, devotions, worship and fellowship.
  • Teach and develop skills in leadership, teamwork and in new activities.
  • Build self–esteem, regard for others and friendships.
