Ordination of Presbyters/Priests (OLM)
The ordination of presbyters/priests (OLM) will take place on Sunday 29 August at 4.00 pm in C.S. Lewis Square in East Belfast.
Bishop David will ordain two presbyters for ordained local ministry as follows:
- Revd James (Jim) Fleming (Killicomaine)
- Revd Colin Birnie (St Clement’s, Templemore Avenue)
The preacher at the service will be Canon Phil Potter who was formerly the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Missioner and Team Leader of Fresh Expressions UK. Phil is now in a part–time role leading a Pioneer Ministry initiative within the Church of Ireland.
