National Day of Prayer, Saturday 31 October

The National Day of Prayer on Saturday 31 October is a call for Christians throughout Ireland to come to God in prayer and fasting. It’s a call to seek God with all our hearts and pray for an awakening of faith throughout this island and an outpouring of renewal upon the Church.

The National Day of Prayer is the initiative of Canon Roland Heaney, rector of Dunganstown Union which includes Redcross Church, and Nick Park of Evangelical Alliance Ireland.

Bishop David has added his support. He said:

“I’m pleased to add my name to those calling for a day of prayer and fasting for Ireland north and south, giving Christians of all church networks an opportunity to call out to God with one voice for the healing of our nation, for a vaccine that would deal with Covid–19 and a move of God across our land that would usher in a season when God’s spirit is poured out on this island in revival power.”
