150 boxes of JOY
This Christmas, the Gathering is teaming up with Street Soccer, Street Ministries, ROC and the Salvation Army Family Appeal to bring 150 boxes of JOY to the streets of Belfast and beyond.
Both Street Soccer and Street Ministries are charities that work with the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers now living in Belfast and further afield. Their heart is to see those they support across Northern Ireland find their time here of great benefit. Mid–week sporting programs and face to face on street weekend support are but a few of their projects.
Follow the Star Project
The Gathering plans to give out 150 boxes of goodies to those engaging with the work of Street Soccer and Street Ministries in Belfast, Derry/Londonderry, Bangor, Downpatrick and Coleraine. Each box will have John’s Gospels in both English and Arabic for those receiving gifts.
Clothing items for all age groups will be provided by the charity ROC and their Winter Appeal. Gifts of toys will be provided by The Salvation Army Family Appeal if and when requested.
