Lambeth spouses focus on period poverty

Days for Girls is the special project focus for the spouses’ programme at the Lambeth Conference and we’re delighted that the Diocese of Down and Dromore is playing its part.

Diane Graham (left), from Moira Parish is heading up the Days for Girls ministry at Lambeth with Jane Corbett whose husband Rory is NSM in Seapatrick.

Delegates have been hearing about the global work of the charity which advances menstrual equity, health, dignity and opportunity for all.

Days for Girls works to increase access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating Social Entrepreneurs, mobilizing volunteers and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigma and limitations for women and girls.

Diane and Jane are pictured below with Caroline Welby, wife of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
