Vacancy for Under 18s Ministry Coordinator
Are you gifted and enthusiastic in helping young people follow Jesus? The Parish of St John’s, Orangefield (Castlereagh Road, Belfast) seeks to appoint an Under 18s Ministry Coordinator (part–time) with a particular focus on Young People.
- To oversee our ministry to children and young people – and their families – under our Rector.
- To provide coordination and vision to our volunteers working with children.
- To engage directly with young people (12–18s) in our church and community to foster fun, friendships and faith.
- To inspire and engage the wider church in this ministry.
We are looking for:
- A committed Christian, who can demonstrate a love for young people and a desire to help them begin and grow a relationship with God.
- A self–starter who will take prayerful initiative in developing ministry to children and young people – and their families.
- A well–organised communicator and team player.
Hours and Salary: 20 hours per week.
Salary is negotiable, depending on experience, within the range £14,439 to £15,412 (NJC Pay Scale Point range 20 to 23) per annum.
