Easter GIGGLE BOXES make families smile
With face–to–face youth and children’s work suspended for now, Holywood Parish is reaching out to children and families with an Easter edition of their GIGGLE BOX.
Launched earlier this year, GIGGLE stands for God is Good, Go Love Each Other. The response to the first distribution was incredibly positive and these great resources have been enjoyed by families outside the parish as well.
The Easter edition GIGGLE BOX includes Bible–based activities and a great book about the Easter story called Are We Nearly There Yet? by Alison Brewis. There’s also a challenge to complete a task in order to receive a Fairtrade chocolate egg which also comes with a booklet telling the real story of Easter.
This is just one of the many creative ways our parishes are working hard to connect with kids and families through the pandemic.
