Paula cooks up a great evening at St Columba’s, Knock

St Columba’s, Knock, recently hosted celebrity chef and lecturer Paula McIntyre who provided an evening of laughter, entertainment and cookery.

Two hundred parishioners and visitors watched Paula prepare a range of autumn dishes using seasonal ingredients, presented in her unique style. She created seven delicious meals and regaled the audience with stories and humorous comments as she cooked.

There was a chance to taste Paula’s cooking and chat over a delicious supper prepared by the Fundraising and Catering Committees, who were all on hand to make sure that everyone had a great night.

Paula’s effervescent personality shone through the whole evening, indeed the folks at St Columba’s rate it as one of the most entertaining events of the parish year!

The rector, Canon John Auchmuty, thanked everyone for their terrific support which raised £3,200 for the Church Roof Appeal.
