Welcome to our completely redesigned website. You’ve come to the right place to find the latest news and information about the Diocese of Down and Dromore.
We hope you’ll enjoy the new look and find the site even easier to navigate, especially if you’re reading this on a mobile or tablet.
The diocese has had a website since December 2005 and in 2011 we gave it a facelift. There are about 5000 items in the news archive and we are pleased to say they are still available via a search in the News section.
Unfortunately older articles and photos will not be perfectly formatted or rendered as they would all have to be fixed manually.
In the Find a Church section, parishes are now searchable alphabetically or by map view. (Please note that the Church Plants have still to be added).
We are in the process of upgrading the photos of our church buildings, so if you have a high quality image of your parish church or churches, please get in touch with our Diocesan Communications Officer, Annette McGrath: dco@downdromorediocese.org
