Standing with the Persecuted Church in Iraq
Please join us on Monday 18 March as we Stand with the Persecuted Church at our St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
This year we’re partnering with Open Doors UK & Ireland and we will have the privilege of hearing from “Michael Jones”, an Egyptian Christian, at the Festival Service in Down Cathedral.
We’ll also hear from rector of Shankill Parish, Lurgan, Revd Mark Harvey, who will share his experience of meeting church leaders in Iraq.
Many families who were forced to flee their homes by IS have been able to return to the Nineveh Plain and begin to rebuild their lives and communities, thanks to the support and prayers of their global church family and the help of Open Doors local church partners.
