Festive flowers in St Columba’s

Rector of St Columba’s Knoc, Revd Canon John Auchmuty writes:

It was a great delight to welcome many parishioners and members of the local community to our Church Hall for the Festive Floral Evening on Wednesday 28 November.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the Church Hall was full, and everyone quickly took their seats upon arrival, where they enjoyed the magnificent floral demonstrations by Maureen Mulligan and Johann Henderson.

Their warm, friendly personalities and their professional flower arranging skills ensured that everyone present really enjoyed the evening. During the delicious refreshments which followed, there was an opportunity for plenty of conversations as well as purchasing Christmas presents from the Craft and Jewellery stalls.

The Festive Floral Evening was a wonderful way to connect with so many people just before the busyness of our Advent preparations for Christmas.

I wish to convey my most sincere thanks to everyone who came along and contributed so much to the success of the evening.
