Saturday Night Live finishes on a high
Youth groups from around the diocese had another brilliant evening together at Saturday Night Live last weekend.
St Mark’s Newtownards hosted 120 plus young people (and some parents) for the last SNL before the summer holidays with Bishop Harold as the special guest.
Finishing off the series on the Psalms, the bishop preached on Psalm 133 with a time of response when everyone had opportunity to be anointed with oil (calling) and wash their hands in water (repentance). One young person became a Christian.
Bishop Harold also commissioned the youth team going to Albany Diocese in early July (pictured right).
As usual the evening was a huge team effort and Tim Burns and the DDYC team would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the volunteers who have made SNL such a great event this year.
SNL will be back in the autumn!
