Vacancy for Contemporary Worship Leader, closing Friday
The Parish of Holywood, Diocese of Down, seeks to make a key appointment to the parish staff team.
The parish has a very full schedule of Sunday services (usually 5 each Sunday) with contemporary music the norm for at least two of these. There are several established groups, numerous musicians and singers who are longing for greater coordination and leadership to enable them to reach their potential and glorify God in worship.
The parish also has an established choral tradition and it is envisaged that the Contemporary Worship Leader will work closely with the Organist and Choir Director, the parish staff team and other volunteers in parish life. The nature of this role dictates that it is an occupational requirement that the post–holder is a Christian.
