A message from Bishop Dan Herzog
Our friend Bishop Dan Herzog (Diocese of Albany), who underwent colon surgery in early summer, has written with news of his recovery.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Many thanks and much gratitude for your sustaining prayer, for your notes and cards. Carol and I are deeply appreciative. I am feeling much better, especially in very recent days. I have more mobility and stamina. (And also my old temptation to try and do too much.) Last Wednesday we made our first non–clinical foray into the world and went to the mid–week Mass at St Ann’s (no steps). Since then I have felt better every day. Still not up to bigger undertakings, but thinking about them…
May Jesus the ultimate Healer bring wholeness to all our lives. Let us continue to love one another as Christ loves us.
