Article highlights impact of 1916 Uprising on Church of Ireland communities
The publication of a special edition of the commemorative journal, Irish Archives, featuring an illustrated article by Julie Parsons, has been highlighted by the Representative Church Body Library.
In writing it, Ms Parsons has drawn on her considerable research at the RCB Library.
Using Church of Ireland Parish Registers dating from 1916 to 1925, Ms Parsons’ article looks at the aftermath of the 1916 Uprising and its impact on specific Church of Ireland communities.
